Responsible for:
receiving and analyzing the complaints received through the hotline;
defining – jointly with the LCC – the internal team that will work on the complaint;
determining the nature and extent of internal or external investigations and coordinating such investigations inclusive of, but not limited to, root cause analysis and internal control break-down;
researching, compiling and analyzing information, from public and proprietary databases, developing reports with relevant facts and trends on compliance-related issues;
recommending – jointly with SLCC – and submitting the action plan to the Audit & Ethics Committee,
answer the complaints post investigation;
help the areas affected by the complaint to build an action plan to aid the problem reported;
monitoring the action plan and report the evolution to the Audit & Ethics Committee till the implementation;
responsible for the end-to-end Due Diligence regarding to Know Your Costumer procedure,
handle Code of Business Conduct mandatory training;
developing and review new Policies / Rules to applicable cases.
Requiring not only the organized and diligent collection of information, but also the flexibility and creativity to look beyond lists of search results. Through the analysis and report writing process, the South Latam Compliance Manager will help the company to identify and mitigate sources of legal, reputational and security risk, assisting in the definition of long-term actions while raising needs that must be addressed immediately.

Experiências:
Desireble:
Degree or higher from a major university or college (preferentially Law).
Experience working with compliance matters, including investigation.
Fluency in English and Portuguese speaking and writing. Spanish is desirable.
Good communication & writing skills. Ability to succinctly summarize and analyze information.
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to deal with large volumes of information.
Familiarity with both traditional (print) and online media.
Understanding of business: where the information comes from and how to assess its validity.
Analytical and inquisitive mind.
Ability to use your own initiative and be discrete in relation to confidential matters.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work efficiently under tight and often multiple deadlines.
