JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Current Position: Controller (P&M division)

 

Location: São José dos Campos – SP - Brazil

Education: Economist or Accountant or Business Administration

Complementary Course: Post Graduated in finances or MBA (desirable)

Native Language: Portuguese

Other languages: Fluent English

JOB'S OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for the financial operations of Pump & Modules division

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

To ensure that accurate financial information to be prepared in accordance with International policies and timetables.

To be responsible for all financial aspects of the business in support of the General Manager, including monitoring the financial performance and compliance with Group accounting policies and procedures.

To assist the Finance Director as necessary

To produce forecasts and budget information in accordance with the timetables set by International.

To maintain appropriate records of capital expenditure and to ensure that all expenditure is authorised in accordance with  policies.

To liaise as necessary with the internal and external auditors and to follow up recommendations made by them so as to take appropriate corrective action.

To motivate, control and develop subordinate staff to achieve high standards of personal performance and discipline and to ensure departmental objectives are met.

Add value to the Operation, by implementing appropriate controls, monitoring budget accomplishment and advising where costs can be minimised or sales maximised.
